Urethane on Iron wheels feature liquid-cast polyurethane tires molded onto heavy duty iron wheel cores. These wheels are impervious to oil, grease, many solvents, and are non-conductive and non-sparking. Urethane on Iron wheels are a common choice for casters in power towing applications.
Standard urethane tires have a hardness rating of 90-95 durometer (Shore A).
